Padel enthusiasts in the Val d'Aran will be able to enjoy their favorite sport without interruptions thanks to the new roof that will be built over the courts in Arties. This initiative by the Naut Aran Town Council aims to improve the sports facilities in the town, located in the sports area.
The council has opened the bidding process for the execution of this structure, which will cost 110,000 euros. The roof will cover an area of 257 square meters, ensuring that the courts can be used even in adverse weather conditions.
The design of the new construction, which will reach a height of 9 meters, has taken into account the unique landscape of the area. For this reason, wood will be used for the horizontal structures and metallic pillars, while the roof will be formed with black panels, respecting the environment and facilitating a faster assembly.
Currently, the padel courts in Naut Aran already have an artificial lighting system. The installation of the new roof will require an adaptation of this system, which is why its temporary disconnection will be necessary during the construction period.
