The Government of Aran has opened the call for economic aid for the 2025/2026 academic year, targeting young student athletes residing in the Val d'Aran aged between 12 and 22.

The subsidies granted by the Conselh Generau d'Aran are aimed at active athletes pursuing compulsory education (ESO) or post-compulsory studies. The latter includes sports technician qualifications, vocational training cycles, or university studies, provided the beneficiaries are residents of the Val d'Aran.

"The Conselh Generau d'Aran wants to offer support to our youth to promote the development of their sports talent, whatever the modality. The main objective of these grants is to motivate the academic continuity of our boys and girls and that, at the same time, they can develop their sports activity."

Javier Cavero · Minister of Sports
The Minister of Sports, Javier Cavero, emphasized that the aid is also essential to “be able to offer economic support to the families of these young people and help them cover part of the expense involved in dedicating themselves to sports.”
The deadline for submitting applications for these grants remains open until January 31, 2026. The complete regulatory bases can be consulted on the edicts board of the Conselh Generau d'Aran.
