The Aran Valley, in the Catalan Pyrenees, offers the Camin Reiau, a hiking route that allows you to discover 33 villages and enjoy unique landscapes, with flexible duration options.

Catalonia stands out for its rich landscapes, from the Pyrenees to the coast, making hiking a very popular active tourism activity. The Federation of Hiking Entities of Catalonia (FEEC) estimates over 11,000 km of marked trails for hikers.
One of the most attractive proposals is the Camin Reiau, an itinerary that traverses the Aran Valley, connecting its 33 villages. This route, ideal for beginners, allows you to enjoy art, gastronomy, and nature, with a customizable duration from a weekend to ten days.
Divided into three main stages, the complete route starts from Vielha. The first phase, Naut Aran, includes villages like Bagergue and Tredòs, reaching the highest point at Plan de Beret (1,800 m) and passing through the abandoned village of Montgarri. The second phase, Mijaran, crosses villages such as Vilac and Aubèrt. Finally, the third phase, Baish Aran, explores less frequented areas with towns like Bossòst and Les.
The complete itinerary, including nine nights of accommodation, costs 850 euros. Individual stages can also be booked separately, with prices varying according to duration and number of nights.
