Alt Pirineu and Aran allocate €420,000 to local and cultural projects

IDAPA launches a call for grants to consolidate the economy, heritage, and professional competitiveness in the region.

The Institute for the Development and Promotion of Alt Pirineu and Aran (IDAPA) has launched a grant call with a budget of €420,000 to support local entities and associations in the region.

The Institute for the Development and Promotion of Alt Pirineu and Aran (IDAPA), under the Department of Territory, has opened the application period for grants aimed at consolidating the local economy, promoting cultural heritage, and improving professional competitiveness in regions such as Alta Ribagorça, Alt Urgell, Cerdanya, Pallars Jussà, Pallars Sobirà, and Aran. The execution period for the subsidized activities ranges from January 1st to November 22nd.
The Minister of Territory, Housing, and Ecological Transition, Sílvia Paneque, explained that this grant line seeks to support fairs, training and recreational activities, and the publication of cultural, socioeconomic, and scientific works. "Helping the fairs and activities that promote the rich heritage of Alt Pirineu and Aran to move forward is another way to strengthen the attachment of the population of these regions, as we provide economic opportunities for the vital projects of their residents," she stated.
The maximum grant amount per activity is €6,000. Local entities and interested associations have 20 calendar days from tomorrow to submit their applications.
