A significant rock landslide has blocked the C-28 highway at the Port de la Bonaigua pass in Naut Aran since Wednesday night, causing total traffic disruption.

The Catalan Transit Service reported that large boulders fell onto the road within the Val d'Aran region. Experts arrived early this Thursday morning to evaluate the stability of the slope and decide whether to establish an alternating traffic lane.
Maintenance crews have used snow piles and snowplows to physically block the road and prevent unauthorized access. Despite warning signs, several drivers reached the summit of the pass throughout the morning, unaware of the danger posed by the debris.
