These evenings, funded by the European project POCTEFA DESIR, aim to bring visitors closer to the natural and cultural heritage of the Pyrenean mountain range. The activities will take place during the summer and autumn of 2026 and will include environmental awareness, cultural mediation, and artistic experiences.
The Honeria refuge was the first location in the Val d’Aran to host one of these events. The initiative combines a tasting of local products with dialogue spaces on the values and challenges of the mountains, as well as a scenic experience based on stories, images, and soundscapes inspired by Pyrenean heritage.
The POCTEFA DESIR project, in which the Conselh Generau d’Aran is a partner, works to promote the ecological transition of mountain refuges, encourage good practices among users, and highlight the natural, cultural, and human heritage of the Pyrenees through cross-border cooperation.
