The Conselh Generau d'Aran has implemented emergency measures in Val d'Aran for Thursday, February 12, as wind gusts are expected to surpass 108 km/h.

The VENTCAT emergency plan is currently active across Catalonia. The Meteorological Service of Catalonia warns of high-risk conditions, particularly in high-altitude areas and large cities where such winds are uncommon.
Authorities have ordered the closure of the Institut d'Aran and all local schools. Non-urgent medical appointments have been canceled, and access to natural parks is strictly prohibited until 8:00 PM to ensure public safety.
