Registration opens for the 12th Corsa dera Hemna in Vielha

The five-kilometer community race will commemorate International Women's Day on March 8th.

The Conselh Generau d'Aran has launched the registration period for the 12th edition of the Corsa dera Hemna, scheduled to take place in Vielha on Sunday, March 8th, at 11:00 AM.

Organized in partnership with the Conselh Esportiu dera Val d'Aran and the Associacion Volentaris Val d'Aran, the event features a 5-kilometer course through the streets of the Aranese capital. The race serves as a tribute to International Women's Day and receives support from the Vielha e Mijaran Town Council and the Institut d'Aran.
The race will start at Plaça d'Aran, offering seven different competition categories ranging from children and youth to senior and master levels. Participation is capped at 400 runners to ensure a high-quality experience for all attendees.
Participants can sign up online or in person on March 6th and 7th at the Plaça del Conselh Generau d'Aran. The registration fee is 5 euros, which covers the official race t-shirt and bib number, available for collection starting at 09:30 AM on the day of the event.
