Starting in Es Bòrdes and finishing in Vielha, the event offers different modalities for runners and walkers, utilizing the paths connecting the Aran Valley's towns. This edition marks the third consecutive year it will be held on a Saturday.
The main challenge of the day is the Cursa dels 15 pobles (15 Pueblos Race), covering 21.50 kilometers with an elevation gain of +1,132 meters. This race will pass through villages such as Vilamòs, Pont d’Arròs, Betlan, and Vielha, starting at 9:00 AM from Es Bòrdes.
For those seeking a shorter distance, the Cursa Trofeu Arturo Riba offers 11.20 kilometers with +440 meters of elevation gain, also starting in Es Bòrdes and passing through the same villages. This race also begins at 9:00 AM.
Walkers can participate in a 15-kilometer route with +690 meters of elevation gain, experiencing the day from a more popular perspective. Additionally, younger participants have two options: the Cursa Trofeu Roland Giné, a 4.4-kilometer race (+60 meters elevation gain), and a 5-kilometer walk. Both will start from Betlan at 11:00 AM and finish in Vielha. The youth race is for participants born between 2013 and 2023.
Registration is now open online. In-person registration will also be available on Friday, August 28th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the multi-purpose hall in Vielha. Prices vary by modality: €30 for the Cursa dels 15 pobles; €25 for the Cursa Trofeu Arturo Riba and the 15 km Walk; and €10 for the youth events.
