18-year-old injured after being struck by car in Manresa

An 18-year-old man from Artés was injured on Tuesday morning after being struck by a passenger car in the city of Manresa.

The incident occurred around 9:45 AM at the junction of Carretera de Vic and Avinguda Països Catalans. The driver, a 44-year-old woman from Sant Joan de Vilatorrada, remained at the scene while emergency services arrived.
The victim was treated by medical staff on-site before being moved to Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Manresa with non-life-threatening injuries. Local Police confirmed the driver tested negative for alcohol and drugs.
