A group of residents from Bages recently completed a cultural tour of Colombia, organized by the Viatges Concord agency from Manresa, exploring the contrasts between the capital and the Caribbean.

The itinerary began in Bogota, where participants explored the famous La Candelaria neighborhood. This historic district, renowned for its colonial architecture and cobblestone streets, served as an introduction to the South American country's complex history.
The second stage of the trip focused on the Pereira region, located in the heart of the coffee axis. In this area, the travelers learned about traditional coffee cultivation processes amidst mountainous landscapes and lush vegetation.
The journey concluded in Cartagena de Indias. The walled city, a World Heritage site, offered the group an immersive experience in a colonial atmosphere, characterized by its vibrant colors and well-preserved urban structure by the sea.
