Antonio Darias wins the 64th Quick Painting Contest in Manresa

The artist from Sabadell took the top prize in a competition featuring forty painters across the city center.

The artist Antonio Darias Martínez has won the 64th Llum Quick Painting Contest held this Sunday in Manresa, an event organized by the local Cercle Artístic.

Forty artists participated in the event, setting up their easels in various locations around Manresa city center. Darias secured the first prize of 700 euros with a painting of Passeig Pere III. The second prize went to Abel Florido from Berguedà, who received 500 euros.
The competition coincided with other local festivities, including the Chinese New Year celebrations. In the youth categories, Jana Calvet, Ona Rigat, and Hanna López were recognized for their artistic contributions.
The artworks are currently on display at the Casino's Espai 7. The exhibition is free to the public and will remain open until March 1st, showcasing the urban landscapes captured during the contest.
