Badalona capitalized on their visit to Lleida Esportiu's home ground, securing a narrow victory and distancing themselves from CE Manresa, who drew at home against Vic, in the battle for the Third RFEF leadership.

CE Manresa's home draw against Vic, the second-to-last placed team, proved costly, as they now trail the leader by two points. Badalona seized the opportunity this Sunday, winning by the narrowest of margins against Lleida Esportiu, the league's bottom team.
The dominance of the Badalona squad was evident in the 72nd minute at Camp d'Esports, when Joaquín Peñalver, with the goalkeeper already beaten, struck a left-footed shot from a cross to secure all three points for the visitors.
This result allows Badalona to regain the two-point lead they had lost on Thursday, when they only managed a draw at l'Escala's ground. Sergi Trullàs' team had the chance to claim the leadership this matchday, even though both teams were facing the bottom two clubs and were expected not to drop points. However, Manresa's lack of effectiveness led to the loss of two points that could prove crucial at the end of the season.
Despite losing the lead, Manresa consolidates its second position, a spot that, should promotion playoffs be contested, would allow them to play return matches at the Nou Estadi del Congost and advance in case of a draw without needing penalties. Cornellà's defeat, currently third, at the hands of fourth-placed Vilanova, benefits the red-and-whites, as it leaves the Baix Llobregat team five points behind with eighteen points still in play. The Garraf team is even further behind, by nine points, and the first team outside the promotion zone, Tona, is already fifteen points away. Thus, Manresa has practically secured its participation in these playoffs.
On Thursday, Manresa will play their Easter match early at Peralada's ground, weather permitting. Badalona will already know the result of this match when they play against Tona on Sunday.
