Passengers from Manresa and the Bages region have expressed frustration over the lack of early morning shuttle trains to Terrassa, a key link for Barcelona commuters.

One month after the fatal accident in Gelida, the R4 Rodalies line continues to operate under provisional conditions. The section between Manresa and Terrassa is currently served by shuttle trains running at reduced speeds due to ongoing embankment repairs.
The main grievance concerns the start time of the service. Before the January incident, trains departed Manresa before 6:00 AM. Currently, the first shuttle leaves at 7:40 AM, making it impossible to reach Barcelona before 9:00 AM.
While Renfe provides a complementary bus service every 30 minutes, users report it is often overwhelmed by demand. Commuters are calling for at least one or two train services before 7:00 AM to accommodate those traveling for work or education.
