The Bages Islamic Cultural Association has formally condemned a series of violent incidents at the Al-Fath mosque in Manresa, involving assaults on worshippers and public disorder during Ramadan.

The events began on February 19 at the temple located on Via de Sant Ignasi. According to Abdellah Anhari, president of the association, the perpetrators were not regular members of the congregation but youths who only attended during the holiday period.

"The events that occurred are unacceptable both inside and outside the mosque."

Following the initial confrontation, the group continued to harass the community by throwing stones at the building and parked cars. On March 11, the Mossos d'Esquadra and Local Police arrested one 18-year-old and seven minors in connection with the attacks.
