Baxi Manresa coach Diego Ocampo celebrated his 50th birthday with the recovery of players Hugo Benítez and Eli Brooks for the crucial ACB match scheduled for Saturday in Manresa against Río Breogán.

Galician coach Diego Ocampo faced the press conference ahead of Saturday's game (9 PM) against Río Breogán with good humor, despite the pressure. The best news was the return of Hugo Benítez, after nearly a month out, and Eli Brooks, who missed only two games.

"They are not even at 50%, but we will try to count on them, depending on how they wake up Saturday after the workload."

A victory is essential for Baxi Manresa, as the bottom half of the ACB table has tightened, bringing the relegation zone within two games. Río Breogán, although having remote mathematical chances for the Copa del Rey, is expected to be a tough visitor, having won convincingly at the Congost last season.
Ocampo praised the visitors' offensive game, calling them “one of the best attacks in the league” due to their ball movement, three-point accuracy, and offensive rebounding dominance. He noted that Breogán is well-coached by Luis Casimiro.
Meanwhile, Breogán coach Luis Casimiro highlighted Baxi Manresa's high-tempo offense and aggressive defense, especially when playing at home in the Nou Congost. Casimiro also singled out Ferran Bassas for his leadership and contribution since replacing Dani Pérez.
