The Government of Catalonia has announced a planned investment of 142.8 million euros for the Central Catalonia region in 2026, marking a 25% increase from 2023.

The budget proposal led by Salvador Illa prioritizes road safety, railway improvements, and healthcare facilities. Bages will receive the largest share with 78.7 million euros, followed by Osona and Berguedà.
Key projects in Berga include 2.5 million euros for the local hospital and 2.1 million for the C-16 highway. Other significant funds are allocated to FGC railway lines and environmental protection in Solsonès.
