Sandá CB L'Hospitalet has identified its first opponent in the 2a FEB promotion phase, CB Navàs, after concluding the regular league with a decisive victory.

After concluding the regular season with a notable victory against Boet Mataró by 78-101, Sandá CB L'Hospitalet now knows its first challenge on the path to promotion. The team led by Òscar Navarro will face CB Navàs in a crucial playoff.
This initial encounter will be a single-match playoff, expected to take place on Saturday, May 9. Thanks to their superior basket-average, the L'Hospitalet team will have the home-court advantage, a factor that could be decisive in overcoming the team from Bages.
Although considered favorites in this first playoff, CB L'Hospitalet would face a greater challenge in a hypothetical second cross-over. This would be against the loser of the playoff between CB Mollerussa and CB Prat, also a single match, but in this case, away from home.
If Òscar Navarro's team manages to win both matches, they would qualify for the national promotion phase. This phase, which will bring together teams from all over Spain, is scheduled between May 28 and 31. The road to returning to 2a FEB is long, but the club has the capacity to face it.
Although the initial goal was to secure first or second place for an easier path, Mollerussa and Tarragona proved slightly superior in the regular league. Now, Sandá CB L'Hospitalet has three weeks to prepare intensely for this final and decisive stretch of the season.
