The tight victory of CB Navàs Viscola on the CB Cornellà court (75-76) reinforces the work of Isidre Suau's team, which achieved its thirteenth win. The visitors started cautiously and showed defensive weaknesses, especially in rebounding, allowing the hosts to maintain a minimal lead during the first half.
Despite improving in the third period, where Navàs was superior, the team continued to make mistakes closing their basket, which kept Cornellà in contention until the final moments. With only a one-point difference, Pérez Galindo missed the last local shot, and Marc Bataller, Navàs's top scorer with 22 points, secured the final rebound.
Winning an away game narrowly always holds merit, but doing so without playing at the best level multiplies that value by two and strengthens the team's overall work.
In other Tercera FEB results, Tenea-CB Esparreguera won a vibrant, high-scoring match against the bottom team of Group C-B, CB Quart Grues Cruz (100-92). Marc Raventós's men, led by an inspired Jeremy Martin (28 points), had to work hard to defeat the Girona side, which managed to score 15 three-pointers.
Conversely, Monbus-CB Igualada suffered its sixth defeat of the season, falling on the court of Immo Sa Marina Ciutat d’Inca Bàsquet (70-61). Víctor Belenguer's players dominated the first half (25-37), but a lack of consistency and the defensive intensity of the Mallorcan team in the second half reversed the score.
