CE Manresa climbed to the top of the Tercera Federación Group 5 table this Sunday following a convincing 4-1 win over Can Vidalet at the Congost stadium.

The team managed by Sergi Trullàs delivered one of their best performances of the season. With the match between FC l'Escala and CF Badalona postponed due to high winds, the local side seized the opportunity to establish a three-point lead at the summit.
Despite an early penalty goal by Michel Owono for the visitors, CE Manresa responded before half-time. Toni Badia equalized with a header, and Carlos Portero made it 2-1 just before the break with a deflected strike.
In the closing stages of the second half, Carlos Portero scored his second of the afternoon and Momoh added a fourth to secure the three points and confirm Manresa as the new provisional league leaders.
