The chemical company Chemipol, based in Terrassa, has purchased a 15,000-square-meter plot in the new Pont Nou industrial estate in Manresa to expand its manufacturing operations.

The family-owned business, established in 1979, finalized the land purchase from the Cerberus fund. The project includes logistics facilities, a cosmetics division, and a quality control laboratory. Construction is expected to begin in late 2027.

"We were convinced by Pont Nou's good communication with Terrassa, its location for transport within Spain, the port, and Europe, and the excellent infrastructure."

Eduard Broto · CEO of Chemipol
The move to the capital of Bages comes as the company reaches full capacity at its Vallès Occidental sites. Chemipol reported a turnover of 35 million euros last year and currently exports to 92 countries.
