The event, held at parc de la Marina in Viladecans, brought together over 300 athletes. Méndez finished second in the V4 category, trailing the winner by only 28 seconds in a very tight race.
In the V3 category, Redondo completed the multi-sport course consisting of running and cycling segments to claim the bronze medal, finishing behind Ricardo Valenzuela from CN Rubí.
