The Mossos d'Esquadra police force launched an operation this Thursday, February 26, in Sant Vicenç de Castellet to investigate a warehouse suspected of large-scale electricity theft.

The raid took place at a facility on Anaïs Nin street within the Les Vives industrial estate. Investigators believe the site was being used as a cryptocurrency farm, an activity often linked to high energy consumption and illegal grid connections.
Specialized ARRO units and judicial police officers secured the building during the morning hours. While the investigation remains active in the Bages region, no arrests have been officially confirmed by the Catalan Police at this stage.
