The Galician coach thanked Álex Reyes and Eli Brooks for their resilience and availability in the game against MoraBanc Andorra, despite having trained very little. Reyes, the forward from Cáceres, had only managed twenty minutes of practice on Friday, while the American guard has had limited sessions since arriving in December.
“"it sets a great example of commitment for all the young players on the roster"
Regarding the game itself, Ocampo especially highlighted the team's strong defensive work, emphasizing the effort to secure the defensive rebound and stop Andorra's pair-play actions, particularly those involving Shannon Evans and Artem Pustovyi.
“"we managed to ensure that a team that usually grabs many rebounds and makes it one of their virtues only captured six."
Finally, Ocampo provided an update on the injury report. He confirmed that Dani Pérez is recovering favorably and is expected to train with the team on Thursday and Friday. However, he was less optimistic about Ubal and Benítez, who continue to face physical issues.
