The Cadet and Junior teams from FEDAC Manresa school secured first place in the qualifying round of the Copa Cangur mathematics competition on January 28, ensuring their spot in the spring final.

The Copa Cangur (Kangaroo Cup), organized by the Societat Catalana de Matemàtiques, is recognized as an academic challenge that tests reasoning speed, strategy, and, especially, the collective work of the participants.
The qualifying day, held on January 28, culminated in a double victory for the two teams from Manresa, positioning the center as one of the strongest candidates for the final phase scheduled for the spring.
The seven students comprising the FEDAC teams, representing grades 7 through 10 (1st to 4th year of ESO), demonstrated great cohesion and ability to handle pressure. The competition demands coordination and quick decision-making, aspects in which the students excelled with rigor and complicity.
This success reinforces FEDAC Manresa's pedagogical commitment to active and motivating learning, aiming for mathematics to become a significant experience that fosters curiosity and critical thinking among the students.
