Baxi Manresa center Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu arrived back in Manresa this Thursday, March 5th, after being stranded in the United Arab Emirates for several days due to travel complications.

The assistance of Dubai Basketball was essential in resolving the situation. The Nigerian player, known as Kao, had been training with the Dubai squad while Baxi Manresa worked on his return. The Emirati team facilitated his transport on their flight to Sarajevo, with a stopover in Ljubljana, allowing him to reach Catalonia.

"I want to take this opportunity to thank Dubai Basketball, their president, and their general manager because they have given us a very important hand."

Josep Maria Herms · President of Bàsquet Manresa
Club president Josep Maria Herms noted that the team's international relationships in leagues like the Basketball Champions League helped navigate the crisis. Akobundu-Ehiogu is expected to be available for this Saturday's Liga Endesa game against La Laguna Tenerife.
