The interventions have recovered a panel from the Temptació de Sant Antoni Abat altarpiece, dating from the first half of the 17th century, and a relief of the Martiri de Sant Sebastià, from 1665, originating from the parish of Torà de Riubregós. These pieces were joined by the restoration of a large-scale Solomonic column decorated with floral motifs and angels.
The technical process, which lasted four months, included an anoxia treatment to eliminate wood-boring insects and a deep cleaning of the polychrome layers. The work consolidated the structures and removed modern additions that altered the original appearance, ensuring long-term preservation.
This project was made possible through the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Ajuntament de Manresa. The goal is to strengthen the museum's position as a national reference center for the study and conservation of Baroque art.
