On Monday, the first eviction was carried out at a residential block on Passeig de la Pau in Sant Vicenç de Castellet, where 15 families are facing displacement.

The affected family, including three minors, decided to leave the property without resistance following months of pressure. Around thirty activists from PAHC Bages and local residents gathered at the entrance this morning, monitored by a significant Mossos d'Esquadra police presence.
The conflict began after Voyager Reo SL purchased the building and informed tenants that their leases would not be renewed. The residents, including approximately 30 children, are demanding social housing agreements to remain in their homes amidst a local housing crisis.

Although the family evicted this March had been approved for emergency housing assistance, the court and the owner proceeded with the eviction. Local groups, including parent-teacher associations, have joined protests to call for a halt to further displacements in the municipality.
