The incident occurred around 8 PM last Sunday, when flames began to spread through the disused building. The affected area measured 25 square meters, including beams and various pieces of furniture located inside the old spa.

To control the situation, two units from the Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Fire Department) were dispatched to the scene. Despite difficulties in accessing the interior of the ruined structure, the firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze using a water line and extinguishers, subsequently sealing the area with foam to prevent reignition.

Once the fire was under control, firefighters conducted a thorough inspection of the premises to ensure that no active hotspots remained that could cause a new outbreak of flames.
