The Front Nacional de Catalunya (FNC) has officially announced its intention to compete in the municipal elections of May 2027 in Manresa, asserting its electoral rights and local structure.

General Secretary Jordi Casacuberta reaffirmed the party's commitment to maintaining its presence in the Manresa city council. According to the leader, the party has the membership and capacity required to form a list, ending speculation about the brand's future in the city.
This decision comes amid a rift with Sergi Perramon, who led the 2023 ticket. Perramon recently launched the Avenç Nacionalista party and started talks with Junts. The FNC stated they would only collaborate with him if he chose a broad civic platform.

"The front is definitely running. We have two councilors and we cannot fail to run because we have the political rights, the membership, and the capacity."

Simultaneously, the Bages and Berguedà regional branch has renewed its executive board. Jordi Corderroura was elected president, aiming to strengthen the party's institutional presence across both regions.
