Danish multinational JYSK opened its new store in Sant Fruitós de Bages this Thursday morning, located on Aneto street, drawing significant crowds for its debut.

The new 1,200-square-meter shop in the Sant Isidre industrial area saw customers queuing for up to twenty minutes at the checkout. The brand, founded by Lars Larsen in 1979, offers a wide range of home accessories and furniture.
This opening is part of an ambitious expansion plan to open 25 to 30 stores annually across Spain and Portugal. In the 2024/25 fiscal year, JYSK reached a record turnover of 303.7 million euros in the Spanish market, where it now operates 174 stores.
