The Teatre Kursaal in Manresa will host on October 9 one of the concerts of the successful Llach Gener 76 tour, a Barnasants production that recently sold out two sessions at the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona. This performance will hold special significance as it will serve as the Portico of the Mediterranean (Pòrtic de la Mediterrània), the event anticipating Manresa's annual fair.
The show commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the performances Lluís Llach offered at the Palau d'Esports de Barcelona in January 1976. The musical direction and piano are handled by Manel Camp, a native of Manresa, who was already the arranger of the pieces half a century ago, tracing a connection between the past and the present.

The cast for the Manresa performance includes Lluís Ribalta on drums, Borja Penalba (guitars and vocals), Jordi Gas (bass and vocals), Anna Bosch (keyboards), and Sofia Intrago (flute), in addition to singers Gemma Humet and Joan Reig. Other illustrious musicians linked to the 1976 events, such as drummer Santi Arisa and the Coral Escriny de Santpedor, also participated in the Barcelona dates.
The first confirmed dates of the tour include seven concerts, starting on May 9 at the Àtrium de Viladecans. After the Manresa date, the route will continue through the Festival Accents de Reus and the Teatre La Fact de Terrassa in November.
