Saxophonist Llibert Fortuny brought his innovative blend of jazz and electronic music to the Kursaal Theater in Manresa last Friday, leading a massive ensemble of 22 performers.

The concert, titled Beat Band XXS, featured the Golden Beat Band and marked the culmination of a four-year collaboration with the Cromàtic Association. Many of the musicians, including Fortuny himself, share deep roots in the Bages region, making the event a homecoming celebration.

"Until now you have been a notable audience, but now we are looking for excellence."

Breaking away from traditional jazz boundaries, the show combined acoustic instruments with synthetic sounds and a vibrant light display. The performance was recorded for future release, aiming to secure spots for this experimental project in major international music festivals.
