Originally from Tordera, Sensat moved to Manresa in 1968. He became deeply involved in progressive church movements and played a vital role during the Spanish Transition, helping to establish the first local democratic social structures.
His extensive legacy includes serving as the first president of the Plaça Catalunya i Saldes neighborhood association and leading the Manresa Red Cross from 1989 to 1991. He was also instrumental in supporting the Ampans foundation and the La Flama school cooperative.
“"He was a person who stood out above all for his kindness. He was honest, devoted to his family, and intensely generous."
Even in his later years, Sensat remained active as a volunteer at the Montblanc nursing home and Lledoners prison. The funeral took place at the Mémora oratory in the capital of Bages.
