The Government's decision follows a high-danger alert issued by the Meteorological Service of Catalonia. In Manresa, local authorities have ordered the preventive closure of l'Agulla Park to protect citizens from potential falling branches.
The UManresa university has also confirmed its facilities will remain closed, urging students and staff to avoid travel. Non-urgent healthcare services have also been postponed across the affected regions.

These emergency measures will remain in effect from midnight on Wednesday until 8:00 PM on Thursday. Further restrictions, including potential train service suspensions, are being considered.
