The Generalitat de Catalunya has suspended all educational, university, and sporting activities in Manresa and the Bages region for this Thursday due to forecast wind gusts exceeding 100 kilometers per hour.

The Government's decision follows a high-danger alert issued by the Meteorological Service of Catalonia. In Manresa, local authorities have ordered the preventive closure of l'Agulla Park to protect citizens from potential falling branches.
The UManresa university has also confirmed its facilities will remain closed, urging students and staff to avoid travel. Non-urgent healthcare services have also been postponed across the affected regions.

"We ask students and staff not to travel to the university and to follow Civil Protection instructions at all times."
