The head of the Junts municipal group in Manresa, Ramon Bacardit, has announced he will file a hate crime complaint this Monday following the appearance of anonymous posters targeting him.

The posters were found in several locations across Manresa during the Fira de l'Aixada festival. The unsigned materials use the metaphor of a plague and display Bacardit's image alongside figures such as Donald Trump and Santiago Abascal, accompanied by illustrations of rats.

"Violence is not acceptable in society. It is harassment that we cannot normalize, whether it comes from the far right or the far left."

Ramon Bacardit · President of the Junts Municipal Group
The local candidate stated that he will not tolerate this type of aggression. Bacardit recalled that he received death threats eighteen months ago and described this latest incident as a wave of harassment by small groups who believe they hold moral superiority.
