The Mayor of Manresa, Marc Aloy, expelled Vox councillor Inmaculada Cervilla from the city council meeting this Thursday after she delivered a speech targeting migrant minors and the LGTBI community.

The incident occurred during a debate on a motion regarding child welfare. The far-right representative used her time to call for the deportation of unaccompanied migrant minors (MENA) and criticized LGTBI perspectives, leading the Mayor to intervene and silence her microphone.
Despite warnings to stick to the topic, Cervilla continued her verbal attacks, prompting Aloy to order her immediate removal from the chamber. The session was briefly suspended following the confrontation, which took place in front of dozens of local residents in the Bages capital.

"Por qué no te callas."

The session also marked the first public appearance of the new political alliance between Ramon Bacardit (Junts) and Sergi Perramon, a move aimed at uniting the right-wing pro-independence vote in Manresa.
