The Mossos d’Esquadra arrested a minor in Sant Vicenç de Castellet for the violent robbery of a mobile phone that occurred on June 28 during a supposed second-hand transaction.

The sequence of events dates back to June 28 when a woman met a potential buyer at a gas station in Sant Vicenç de Castellet. The buyer had expressed interest in the phone she was selling via a second-hand website.
However, when the young man held the device, he immediately ran away with it. The seller's partner, who was accompanying her, attempted to stop the thief. Nevertheless, several young men present, accomplices of the supposed buyer, prevented the pursuit and even assaulted the victim's partner.
The thief, who is a minor, managed to escape with the mobile phone. The subsequent investigation by the Mossos d'Esquadra allowed them to identify and recently arrest the perpetrator.
The detainee may be charged with a crime of robbery with violence. The police force is currently seeking leads regarding the accomplices who helped ensure the robbery was successfully carried out in Sant Vicenç de Castellet.
