The minor was located near the courthouse in the capital of the Bages region. He had disappeared on Monday afternoon while walking between Marganell and Castellbell i el Vilar, leading his family to report him missing at 6:00 PM.

The search operation involved twelve ground units and a helicopter from the Bombers de la Generalitat, along with ten units from the Mossos d'Esquadra police force. Local authorities in Castellbell i el Vilar had also shared his description on social media to assist in the search.
