The Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona has successfully generated 13,000 direct jobs, reinforcing its role as a major driver for temporary youth employment in the region.

Thousands of university students, often with no prior experience but fluent in English, have been recruited to staff the 2,900 exhibitors at Fira Barcelona. Roles range from hospitality and stand assistance to security and logistics during the four-day event held from March 2nd to 5th.
