The Department of Territory, Housing, and Ecological Transition has informed the Gurb City Council that works to improve the connections of the N-152z road with the C-17 and C-25 motorways in the municipality will begin at the end of next month, with a budget of 1 MEUR and an execution period of eight months.

The project aims to increase the capacity of existing accesses and improve traffic safety and flow. The works include enhancing the capacity of the two existing roundabouts – one circular and one elliptical – and creating a direct lane from the C-25 exit towards the N-152z in the direction of the C-17 north. This will improve the connection between the two high-capacity axes and the northern entry to the towns of Gurb and Vic.
The project also includes the reordering of accesses, resurfacing of the road within the intervention area, and the adaptation and improvement of signage, barriers, and safety fences.
