Ombudsman reports 18 homeless people in Manresa

A new report reveals the extent of homelessness across several municipalities in Central Catalonia and Baix Llobregat.

The Catalan Ombudsman (Síndic de Greuges) has released data on homelessness in Central Catalonia, identifying a total of 18 people living on the streets in Manresa this February.

The report highlights residential vulnerability across several municipalities. According to the collected data, Manresa leads the list in the Bages region, followed by other neighboring towns where the issue is increasingly visible.
In the Baix Llobregat Nord area, the figures are particularly concerning in Esparreguera, where 24 homeless individuals were detected. Other affected municipalities include Martorell, with 8 registered cases, and Olesa de Montserrat, with 2 people in this situation.
