One arrested and 28 identified in police operation in Sant Vicenç de Castellet

Mossos d'Esquadra deploy the Tremall Plan in Bages to combat repeat offenders and street crime.

The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested one person and identified 28 others this Wednesday during a special operation against repeat offenders in Sant Vicenç de Castellet, Bages.

The operation, known as Plan Tremall, lasted four hours across various locations in the town. Units from the ARRO and plainclothes officers participated to prevent thefts, robberies, and the possession of weapons or drugs.
According to police sources, the 28 identified individuals had a combined total of 51 criminal records. The arrested individual was charged with breach of sentence, while others faced fines for carrying a prohibited weapon and drugs.
Additionally, one person is under investigation for a crime against public health after being found with 26 grams of hashish. The Tremall Plan was established in 2020 to target prolific offenders in Catalonia.
