The Manresa Prosecutor's Office is seeking a 17-year prison sentence for a man accused of sexually assaulting a young woman in the Els Trullols area on January 12, 2025.

According to the indictment, the suspect posed as a police officer to lure the victim away from a local nightclub. He allegedly took her to a remote area near Camí dels Tovots, where he committed the assault and held her captive in a shack for four hours.
The trial is scheduled for March 23 at the Barcelona Provincial Court. Prosecutors are also requesting the defendant's deportation from Spain following his sentence, as he is a foreign national currently in pre-trial detention for a separate case.
