The Puigcerdà Local Police has added a new patrol vehicle to its fleet this March, aiming to strengthen public safety and tackle vandalism within the town.

The new operational resource is a 150-horsepower Seat Ateca 1.5 TSI Style, acquired through the Catalan Association of Municipalities. This addition aligns with the Puigcerdà City Council's goal to improve street coexistence and stop the recent wave of vandalism affecting public infrastructure.

"This addition is not just the renewal of material means; it is a clear commitment to security and the dignity of our officers' work."

Cristina Deulofeu · Councillor for Security and Mobility
The vehicle is equipped with advanced police technology, including a security partition for transporting detainees, a portable defibrillator, and a programmable LED screen. The exterior design follows the CEN 1789 European standard for high visibility.
