The R4 Rodalies line has resumed circulation between Manresa and Terrassa Nord, offering a limited service of one train per hour, supplemented by the complementary bus service.

The restoration of the service follows the completion of slope and trench stabilization works carried out by the Generalitat in the affected section. These works involved stabilization and protection with metallic meshes to prevent further landslides, which had caused significant network disruption.
Despite the reopening, the frequency remains highly limited, with only one train running every hour. Consequently, the complementary bus service will be maintained until the line can operate at 100% of its usual capacity.

The lack of investment in the railway network has led to this situation, making it very difficult for users to regain confidence in Rodalies.

During the initial hours of partial operation, many users chose to take the bus, reflecting the lack of confidence following the ten days of chaos experienced. This collapse has resulted not only in personal issues for thousands of users but also significant economic costs.
