Uncivil acts have been reported in Manresa this March, specifically on Carrer de la Llum, where some residents are throwing garbage bags out of windows onto nearby rooftops.

The city is currently transitioning to a new waste management system using closed containers that open with a magnetic card. Under these rules, the general waste bin can only be accessed once a week.
While most citizens, including the elderly, follow the new regulations, some individuals in the Valldaura district are bypassing the system by tossing their refuse directly from their homes. This has resulted in various types of waste accumulating on lower rooftops.
Local observers note that this behavior creates a poor image of the neighborhood and ignores the efforts of the rest of the community to maintain cleanliness in the capital of the Bages region.
