The Calaf Town Council has appointed the Sant Andreu Salut Foundation to manage the town's new elderly care complex, which is scheduled to open in May.

The facility features 54 residential beds and 40 day-care spots within a 2,200-square-meter newly built property. The project represents a total investment of 6 million euros and is located next to the local health center and emergency services base.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of March, allowing for a gradual rollout of services. This expansion consolidates the foundation's role as a leading healthcare provider in Central Catalonia, adding to its existing network in the Bages region.
The management model focuses on person-centered care, prioritizing individual dignity and autonomy while integrating social and medical assistance for the elderly population.
