The Sant Llorenç de Morunys Town Council has formally complained to Telefónica and the Generalitat de Catalunya regarding the dangerous state of the local telephone infrastructure.

Local authorities warn that recent work to remove obsolete copper wiring has left many cables sagging, posing a safety risk to residents. Furthermore, the council has reported that subcontractors are leaving plastic waste in the surrounding forests, causing significant environmental impact in the Solsonès region.
Despite having open incidents for over a year, the municipality claims the company has failed to act effectively. The council decided to involve the Catalan Government after several maintenance tickets were closed unilaterally without being resolved.
