The Santpedor Town Council has started renovation works at the municipal swimming pools, a 299,529 euro project designed to modernize the facilities in time for the summer season.

The facility, which first opened in 1976, is undergoing a major overhaul to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The works focus on building new changing rooms and improving site access to maintain its status as one of the most attractive pools in the Bages region.

"We face this remodeling with expectation and the desire to keep Santpedor's pool as one of the most attractive in the region."

Agustí Comas Guitó · Mayor of Santpedor
The project is partially funded by a 60,000 euro grant from the Generalitat de Catalunya. Construction is expected to last three months, ensuring the pools are ready for the public by June.
